What Nonprofits Need Most From Corporate Donations
Nonprofits accept many things, but some items are always short. If your company has any of these, they will be placed fast.
Hygiene and personal care
Soap, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine care and diapers cannot be bought with food assistance benefits, so families go without. Donate personal care.
Cleaning supplies
Shelters and schools clean constantly on small budgets. Disinfectants, sanitizer and paper goods go quickly. Donate cleaning supplies.
New socks, underwear and coats
The most requested clothing items at shelters, and they must be new. Donate apparel.
School supplies and books
Teachers spend their own money every year. Donate school supplies.
Furniture for new homes
Families moving out of shelters into housing need beds, tables and basics. Donate furniture.
